About
Built for the night no one talks about.
There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from a problem no one takes seriously enough.
Not the exhaustion of being busy, or stressed, or overcommitted. The exhaustion of waking up at 2 a.m. soaked, changing your clothes in the dark, flipping the pillow to the dry side, and lying there waiting for it to happen again. The exhaustion of doing this for months. Of buying the pajamas they said would help. Of sleeping on a towel. Of managing something that was supposed to be manageable and finding out, night after night, that none of the solutions actually solved anything.
LunaDry was built for that night.
Why everything else fell short
The sleepwear industry has had one answer to night sweats for decades: moisture-wicking fabric. Move the sweat away from the skin. Spread it toward the surface. Let it evaporate.
It is a reasonable answer for a runner. For someone horizontal in a warm room, barely moving, under a blanket — it is the wrong answer entirely. Wicking fabric becomes saturated. Saturated fabric goes cold against your skin. Cold, wet fabric reaches your sheets. You wake up. The cycle continues.
No amount of better wicking changes this. The physics do not cooperate. When evaporation cannot happen, wicking has nowhere to go.
What was missing was a different approach entirely — one built around absorption rather than dispersion. Capturing moisture and holding it rather than moving it around. The same principle that works in every other context where the problem is volume rather than surface evaporation.
That is the gap LunaDry was designed to close.
What we built
The LunaDry Sleep Suit is a one-piece absorbent sleep bodysuit with a patent-pending internal moisture management system. It draws perspiration away from your skin and holds it inside the garment — not your sheets, not your mattress, not the clothes you have to change at 3 a.m.
It is built as a single continuous piece because two-piece pajamas have a structural failure at the waist. Sleep moves the top. Sleep moves the bottom. The gap between them is where the protection ends. The Sleep Suit has no gap. Anatomical panel seams shaped around the body, four-way stretch fabric that moves with you, and mid-thigh coverage that stays in place through every position and every hour of the night.
It looks like premium sleepwear because it is premium sleepwear. There is nothing clinical about it, nothing medical, nothing that announces itself. The technology is entirely inside. What you see is a beautifully constructed garment. What you feel, after the first night, is the absence of a problem that used to define your sleep.
Available in Black, Midnight Charcoal, Deep Blue, and Lunar Grey. Sizes XS through 5X.
The person who built it
My name is Sherrea Sampson. I am the founder of LunaDry and the reason this product exists.
I did not set out to build a sleepwear company. I set out to sleep through the night. When I could not find anything that actually worked — when I had been through the wicking pajamas and the cooling pads and the lighter blankets and all the advice — I started asking why. Why was there nothing designed to actually absorb and contain night sweat? Why had no one built this?
The answer, as far as I can tell, is that no one had looked at the problem carefully enough from the inside. From the perspective of the person lying awake at 3 a.m., not the perspective of the person designing fabric performance for athletic use.
So I looked at it from the inside. I worked with a technical designer to engineer a fabric system built specifically for how the body behaves during sleep. I tested it. I put it on fifty women for thirty nights and listened to everything they said. I refined it. I protected it. And then I made it available, because the thing I had been waiting for should not be something only I had.
LunaDry is a small company right now. It is one product, made with intention, built to do one thing exceptionally well. I am proud of what it does and I stand behind it completely.
If you sleep through the night in LunaDry — and I believe you will — I would love to hear about it.

What we believe
Absorption is not a niche problem. An estimated 30 to 40 million women in the United States experience night sweats at any given time. From menopause. From medication. From hormonal shifts after pregnancy. From conditions no one warned them about. This is not a small group with a small problem. It is a large group that has been underserved by an industry that offered them the same answer for decades and called it innovation.
Premium should mean something. There are enough products in the world that look good and do nothing. LunaDry is built around a different premise — that something can be genuinely beautiful and genuinely functional at the same time. The aesthetic is intentional. So is the engineering. Neither one was sacrificed for the other.
Inclusive sizing is not optional. Night sweats do not discriminate by size. LunaDry is available from XS through 5X because the woman who needs this product exists across the full size range, and she deserves the same quality, the same performance, and the same beautiful design as everyone else.
One thing done exceptionally well. LunaDry launched with one product because we believe in doing one thing right before doing many things. The Sleep Suit is that one thing. Every decision — fabric, construction, silhouette, sizing, packaging — was made in service of a single goal: you sleep through the night.
Ready to try it?
The Sleep Suit is available now in four colors and ten sizes. If you try it and it does not work for you, we will make it right. That is not a legal disclaimer. That is a promise from a founder who built this because she needed it to work.
